Start Your Career in Property and Financial Services
We are looking for an organised, confident, and motivated individual to join a growing property and asset management team in Exeter.
You do not need previous property experience. You will receive structured training and ongoing support from experienced colleagues.
This opportunity would suit someone with experience in administration, customer service, legal support, financial services, or operations who wants to develop specialist skills and build a long-term career.
Following your training, you will manage a portfolio of property cases, communicate with customers and professional partners, maintain accurate records, and ensure each case progresses within agreed deadlines.
This is not a call-centre or general customer-service position. It is a varied case-management role offering genuine responsibility, professional development, and exposure to property, legal, and financial processes.
What Does the Role Involve?
The organisation manages residential and commercial properties where a lender has taken control following a breach of a mortgage agreement.
Each case is different. Depending on the circumstances, you could be:
- Communicating with tenants and borrowers.
- Arranging property inspections, repairs, or maintenance.
- Coordinating rent collection and tenancy matters.
- Instructing estate agents, valuers, contractors, and solicitors.
- Helping prepare a property for sale.
- Reviewing documentation and investigating the circumstances of a case.
- Providing updates to lenders and other professional stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
