Full Time/37.5 Hours

What you'll be doing

In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.

  • Support qualified Psychologists in delivering high-quality psychological assessments, interventions and person-centred care to patients.
  • Build therapeutic relationships with patients, co-facilitating groups and delivering low-intensity psychological interventions under supervision.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team (MDT), contributing psychological perspectives to patient care and recovery planning.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, assist with outcome measures, and support service evaluation, audit and research activities.
  • Receive regular clinical supervision and gain valuable experience in a supportive environment, with opportunities for ongoing professional development.

What you'll bring to the role

The successful candidate will hold a Psychology degree (minimum 2:1) and ideally have Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society (BPS). Previous experience working in a mental health, healthcare or social care setting is desirable, along with a sound understanding of psychological theory and evidence-based practice.

You will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive therapeutic relationships with patients and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organisational skills, the ability to maintain accurate clinical records and effectively manage competing priorities.
  • A compassionate, professional approach and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
