TYPE: Full-Time (37.5 hrs/week), Permanent, Band 4
SALARY: £29,812 - £32,715 per annum (includes 5% HCAS)

Requirements
- Honours degree in Psychology with entitlement to graduate membership of British Psychological Society
- Ability to work independently, reliably, and consistently
- Experience working with people with mental health and/or other disabilities in care setting
- Understanding of psychology applied to mental health context
- Experience working with people in group settings
- High level communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to interact effectively with staff from all disciplines

Preferred
- Post graduate training in professional psychology or mental health practice
- Experience of paid work within direct care provision
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and SPSS
- Experience working within acute adult mental health
- Desire to explore career in Professional Psychology
Responsibilities
- Support embedding of trauma informed approaches across wards
- Write up team case formulations
- Support delivery of training and ensure good data collection
- Assist in formulation and delivery of intervention plans
- Assist in coordination and running of therapeutic groups
- Work with staff to assess service users for multidisciplinary reviews
- Attend and contribute to team meetings
- Maintain clinical record keeping and report writing
- Work flexibly between Aston Ward (Stevenage) and Robin Ward (Radlett)
