We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated Assistant Psychologist, interested in autism to work within the West Essex adult autism assessment service. The post is full time, permanent contract and will be based in Kao Park, Harlow.
The post holder will support the Clinical Psychologists with autism assessments of adults without a learning disability, participating in audits, writing of reports, undertaking psychometric assessments, and managing clinical administration as part of team of Clinical Psychologists. The West Essex autism assessment service is part of the Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation NHS University Trust.
The post holder will be professionally supervised by a senior Clinical Psychologist and will also form part of a supportive Psychology team.
Online as well as in person assessments are undertaken and car driver is essential, or access to a car (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010 which prevents you from driving).

Role Responsibilities
- To work in the Adult Autism Assessment Service, under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist.
- The role includes assisting in the psychological assessment, as part of an autism assessment of adults without a learning disability.
- The post holder will participate in audits, writing reports, undertaking psychometric assessments, and managing clinical administration.
- They will participate in feedback of the assessments and have opportunity to suggest interventions for adults with a wide range of abilities and needs.
- In addition, the post would involve carrying out other work that the supervising Clinical Psychologist may require.
