Linsco Recruitment are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work for a Facilities management contractor in the Manchester area.

Duration: 3 months (but may look to extend beyond this : workload permitting)

Start Time: 8:30

Pay: GBP17.79 PAYE/GBP20.83 Umbrella (GBP37k)

Role Summary: Primarily to support the team with periodic payment applications (2 per period) to ensure they are submitted on time as per the application timetable, ensuring accuracy, reviewing all supporting evidence that is provided, creating hyperlinks to demonstrate this and checking the links work and attachments are correct prior to submission. Periodic reconciliations and reducing WIP and converting it into applied for via payment applications. Ensuring all material costs can be claimed for and working with the Ops team to resolve any issues. Assisting with raising EWNs and pricing compensation events via CEMAR And to support the team in various other ad:hoc commercial tasks (such as procurement, producing contract documentation, liaising with subcontractors, raising POs and material requisitions)
