Assistant Quantity Surveyor East Midlands

Are you an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to build your career with a leading UK house builder? Our client is seeking a motivated individual to join their East Midlands Commercial Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across residential developments while working alongside experienced Senior Surveyors.
The Role
As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the commercial management of multiple housing projects. Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with procurement of subcontract packages
- Supporting cost reporting and financial control
- Contributing to valuations and payment processes
- Carrying out measurements and re-measurement exercises
- Reviewing construction methods for cost efficiency
About You
- Degree qualified (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Experience within a housebuilder, contractor, or consultancy environment
- Strong numerical and commercial awareness
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
- Eager to learn and progress within a commercial team
