Assistant Quantity Surveyor East Midlands

Very Attractive Salary + Car/Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Are you an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to build your career with a leading UK house builder? Our client is seeking a motivated individual to join their East Midlands Commercial Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across residential developments while working alongside experienced Senior Surveyors.

The Role

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the commercial management of multiple housing projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with procurement of subcontract packages
  • Supporting cost reporting and financial control
  • Contributing to valuations and payment processes
  • Carrying out measurements and re-measurement exercises
  • Reviewing construction methods for cost efficiency

About You

  • Degree qualified (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Experience within a housebuilder, contractor, or consultancy environment
  • Strong numerical and commercial awareness
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused
  • Eager to learn and progress within a commercial team
