The Role
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting senior commercial staff throughout the project lifecycle, from award to final account. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly valuations
- Tracking variations
- Maintaining subcontractor orders and cost records
- Being involved in procurement, estimating, and building strong client relationships
Regular travel to project sites across the UK will be required to ensure successful project delivery.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Strong technological abilities and comfort with digital tools
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic about career development
- Flexible and supportive team player
