About the Client

We are partnering with a premier, fully integrated residential developer with a multi-billion-pound pipeline across London. Following a major recent global acquisition and backing by international capital, they are rapidly expanding their footprint across the capital. They pride themselves on high-quality, sustainable, and design-led developments. The Project

You will be based on-site at our client's flagship Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) development in Wembley.

  • A massive 1,000-unit project split across two 22-storey towers.
  • Fully BSR approved and in a fantastic operational position. Building 1 is currently at Level 4; Building 2 has just completed its basement and is preparing for the main concrete frame pour.
  • A wellness-led development targeting BREEAM Excellent, EPC A, and WELL Platinum accreditation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Role & Your Progression

With procurement already 75% complete, the commercial team is structured, organised, and highly efficient. You will work alongside two Senior Quantity Surveyors (SQS) and an existing Assistant QS. Our client is looking for a second Assistant QS to join the team. Their structured plan for your development includes:

  • Phase 1: Get up to speed on site-wide commercial administration, variation management, and monthly reporting, working directly with a supportive SQS.
  • Phase 2: Take ownership of smaller internal packages (e.g., fit-out, finishes) as you build confidence.
  • Phase 3: Graduate into managing major, high-value external packages (e.g., façade and envelope structures) as the frames progress.
