ROLE: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours
LOCATION: MoD Corsham, Wiltshire, SN13 9ET
We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our projects and facilities management team, supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of works across a secure estate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundation in commercial, procurement or project support who is looking to develop their career within quantity surveying. You will gain hands-on exposure to the full project lifecycle, working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.

Role Responsibilities:
- Assess tender returns for accuracy, compliance, and value for money
- Prepare and issue tender enquiries
- Draft and place subcontract orders with clear scope and terms
- Support development of scopes, activity schedules, and pricing templates
- Assist with monthly cost reporting and forecasting
What we are looking for:
- Experience in a QS, commercial, procurement, or project support role (Facilities Management, Construction, or MoD experience desirable)
- Ideally, have experience working with NEC and JCT contracts
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships
- Well-organized with the ability to prioritize workload effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
