We are looking for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone in the early stages of their Quantity Surveying career who is eager to develop their skills, gain hands-on project experience, and build a long-term career within a supportive and forward-thinking business.

The Role
Working closely with our commercial, construction and project teams, you will be involved in all aspects of cost management throughout the project lifecycle, including:
- Assisting with procurement and tendering of subcontract packages
- Preparing cost plans, valuations and financial reports
- Managing subcontractor accounts, payments and final accounts
- Monitoring project budgets, costs and variations
- Supporting contract administration and commercial management activities
- Attending site, project and client meetings where required
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably
- Helping identify opportunities to maximise value while maintaining quality standards

What We're Looking For
- Degree, HNC/HND qualified (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience gained through employment, placements, apprenticeships or internships is desirable
- Strong commercial awareness and numerical skills
- Good IT, communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to analyse information and work methodically with attention to detail
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple priorities
- Professional and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Full UK driving licence
