We have an opportunity for a service-minded Assistant Front Office Manager to lead and inspire our great-natured team. You’ll be obsessed with the guest, enjoy working at the heart of the hustle and bustle of hotel operations, and be passionate about creating an exceptional experience at every stage of the guest journey.
Our Assistant Front Office Manager will train, supervise and mentor new team members, setting them up for success in the most productive and inspiring ways. You’ll enjoy leading as a coach, working collaboratively across all areas of Front of House to create a seamless guest journey.

This is a highly visible and operational role in which you’ll be constantly interacting with guests, whether welcoming them from across an ocean or just around the corner. You’ll be teaching others to do the same, so leading by example is everything.
About you...
You are passionate about hotel operations and guest service, with a minimum of two years’ experience in a Front Office supervisory role, preferably within an upper-upscale or luxury hotel environment. A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
You have advanced knowledge of Front Office operations, are a confident and inspiring leader, and have a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance. You excel at communication, both verbal and written, and genuinely enjoy coaching others and working collaboratively as part of a wider Front of House team.

This is a shift-based role, with ordinary working hours between 7am and 10pm, including weekends and public holidays. You will also be required to work as Night Manager when necessary to provide holiday or sickness cover.
