Role
As an Assistant Registry Officer (Enrolment, Data Management and Systems), you'll join a friendly and dedicated team responsible for supporting student enrolment, student record and student finance activities. You'll work closely with colleagues across the University, as well as external organisations such as the Student Loans Company, helping to ensure students are enrolled accurately and receive the support they need to begin and continue their studies successfully.
Key Responsibilities
You'll be part of a collaborative service that places students at the centre of everything we do, contributing directly to a positive and seamless student experience. You'll play a key role by:
- Supporting the administration and delivery of student enrolment and programme administration processes across the University.
- Assisting with Student Loans Company administration, including attendance confirmations, changes of circumstance and funding-related transactions.
- Maintaining and updating student, enrolment, and finance records across university systems and external portals, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
- Providing professional advice and customer support to students, staff, sponsors, and external stakeholders.
- Working with Academic Schools, Professional Services colleagues and external agencies to resolve enrolment and student record queries.
- Supporting the planning and delivery of enrolment and induction activities throughout the academic year.
- Contributing to continuous improvements in systems, processes and ways of working across Registry Services.

What You’ll Bring
You'll be an organised, customer-focused and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with people and information. You'll take pride in delivering an excellent service and have the ability to manage a variety of administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
Additionally, You'll Bring
- Experience of maintaining and updating administrative systems and processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, helpful approach when dealing with students and colleagues.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to maintain accurate records and perform routine administrative processes with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a team.
- Experience of working with databases, student record systems or student finance processes would be advantageous. Knowledge of Higher Education administration, student enrolment processes or the Student Loans Company would also be beneficial, although training will be provided.
