Assistant Relationship Manager – Private Banking (Hebrew Speaking)
Location: West End, London
Salary: £45,000–£60,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Working arrangement: Fully office-based
Language requirement: Hebrew (Ivrit) – essential
The Opportunity
An international private bank based in London's West End is seeking a Hebrew-speaking Assistant Relationship Manager to join its Private Banking team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to begin a career in private banking or for someone with approximately two years of relevant banking, financial services or client relationship experience who is looking to develop their career further.
The successful candidate will work closely with Relationship Managers, supporting the day-to-day management of private banking clients and helping deliver a professional, responsive and high-quality client experience.
This is a front-office, client-facing position offering exposure to a broad range of private banking activities, client servicing, investment-related matters and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Client relationship support: Assist Relationship Managers with the day-to-day management of private banking clients, responding to queries, understanding client requirements and ensuring instructions are handled efficiently.
- Banking transactions: Process and coordinate payments, investment orders, loans and deposits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal procedures.
- Investment support: Assist with investment-related enquiries, client requests and associated administrative activities.
- Account opening and maintenance: Support account onboarding, account closures, account maintenance and other client lifecycle requirements.
- Client servicing: Handle a range of banking-related matters, including corporate actions, loan applications and credit card requests.
- Client reporting: Prepare and coordinate client statements, valuations, transaction advices and tax reports.
- Meeting preparation: Prepare presentations and supporting documentation for client and prospective client meetings.
- Relationship management administration: Maintain accurate contact notes, take meeting minutes and ensure client records are kept up to date.
- Business development: Support Relationship Managers with networking, business development initiatives and prospective client activities.
- Client events: Assist with the coordination and delivery of client events.
- Projects and systems: Contribute to internal projects, including testing new systems and processes.
- General support: Provide front-office administrative assistance and manage client queries in a timely and professional manner.

Candidate Profile
The bank is open to considering candidates at different stages of their careers, including those looking to enter private banking and those with approximately two years of relevant experience.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Fluency in Hebrew (Ivrit) – essential.
- A genuine interest in private banking, wealth management and financial services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and client-focused approach.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, enthusiastic and collaborative attitude.
- The ability to handle confidential client information with discretion.
- Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous experience in banking, financial services, client servicing or financial administration would be advantageous, but candidates looking to start their career in private banking are also encouraged to apply.
