Role Overview
At ETM Group, being an Assistant Restaurant Manager is a key leadership role and an important step in your progression within premium hospitality. You're not just supporting service - you're helping drive standards, developing your team, and ensuring every guest experience reflects the quality and professionalism of our ETM Collection venues.
Across our ETM Collection venues - from rooftop restaurants to refined dining spaces - our Assistant Restaurant Managers play a vital role in the daily success of the restaurant. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and senior leadership team, you help lead service, maintain operational standards, and create memorable guest experiences through strong floor presence and hands-on leadership.
As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will take ownership of key areas of the operation, support team development, and help deliver strong commercial and service performance. This is a hands-on role where energy, organisation, and attention to detail are essential, alongside a genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience.

The Ideal Candidate Will Present
- Proven Experience: You have experience in a supervisory or management role within a premium or high-end hospitality environment.
- Leadership Potential: You are a confident and approachable leader with a passion for developing and motivating your team.
- Guest-centred Approach: You consistently deliver excellent guest experiences with strong attention to detail.
- Operational Awareness: You understand the importance of smooth floor operations, service standards, and team coordination.
- Commercial Understanding: You have a good understanding of labour control, service efficiency, and overall restaurant performance.
- Organisation & Communication: You are highly organised, communicate effectively, and remain calm during busy service periods.
- Passion for Food & Drink: You have a strong interest in modern food and beverage trends within premium hospitality.
- Hands-On Leadership: You lead from the floor, support your team throughout service, and set the standard through your actions.
