Assistant Restaurant Manager - Bar (fixed-term)

Whinfell Forest | £34,600 per annum plus tips

Leisure Bowl combines bowling, cocktails, snacks and evening discos for all-day family fun.

Serve up the flavour that turns a good break into a great one

Lead and coach the Leisure Bowl team to deliver an excellent guest experience while achieving financial targets.

This role requires supervisory-level catering or bar management experience, strong leadership, financial awareness and communication skills.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead and coach colleagues to maintain high service standards
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by proactively addressing queries and concerns
  • Monitor and achieve financial targets through effective cost control and analysis
  • Support back-of-house operations and work across units with varying service styles
  • Utilise strong computer literacy and analytical skills for reporting and planning

Your working hours

Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 31st March 2027

  • Full-time contract
  • You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of 160 hours over a 4-week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
  • This role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays

About you

  • Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer literacy and analytical skills
  • Previous supervisory experience at a similar level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to perform under pressure
