Ready to take the next step in your leadership career at a busy Taco Bell restaurant in Gretna Green?
As Assistant Manager at Welcome Break, you’ll support the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day running of our Taco Bell unit, helping to lead the team, keep standards high and make sure every customer receives quick service, great food and a warm welcome.
Based at our Gretna Green services, you’ll be part of a busy travel hub serving local customers, commuters and visitors travelling across Scotland and the North of England. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility, but you won’t be doing it alone, you’ll have training, support and a clear route to progress into a Store Manager role.

- Have experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, Shift Leader or Assistant Manager in hospitality, retail, food service, catering, convenience retail, hotels, pubs, cafés or another customer-focused environment
- Enjoy leading from the front and supporting a team through busy shifts
- Take pride in delivering great service, good food and high standards
- Are organised, calm under pressure and confident keeping routines on track
- Enjoy coaching others and helping people grow in confidence
- Understand the importance of safety, compliance, stock control and sales performance
- Are ambitious and ready to develop your management career with a clear progression path
Due to responsibilities within the Assistant Manager role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over.
