Assistant Manager | Full-Time | Regular Weekend Working

40 hours per week, including regular weekend working. You must be available to work at least one weekend day each week, with some weekends requiring both Saturday and Sunday.

Role Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of our Clifton store.

Leading by example, you'll help deliver outstanding customer service, inspire and motivate the team, and contribute to the continued success and growth of the business. This varied role spans our womenswear, menswear, and lifestyle departments, making it ideal for someone with a genuine passion for fashion, retail, and independent brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager with the day-to-day operation of the store.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, and staff development.
  • Drive sales through excellent customer engagement and product knowledge.
  • Maintain high visual merchandising and presentation standards.
  • Help achieve store sales targets and commercial objectives.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers through a personalised shopping experience.

About You
You'll be a positive, proactive, and confident retail professional who enjoys leading by example.

You'll have:

  • Previous fashion retail experience (essential).
  • Experience supervising or managing a retail team.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • A commercial mindset and a sales-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A genuine interest in fashion and the brands we represent.
  • Enthusiasm, commitment, and a creative outlook.
