Role Description

The Assistant Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Croydon. This role supports the Sales Manager in driving property sales, managing a team of sales negotiators, and ensuring targets are met or exceeded.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing property listings
  • Coordinating viewings
  • Guiding clients through the sales process
  • Maintaining accurate records in agency systems

The Assistant Sales Manager will contribute to local marketing initiatives, provide regular performance updates, and help train and mentor team members. The position requires close collaboration with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to maintain high levels of client care and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in residential sales within an estate agency office.
  • Strong client relationship and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Team leadership or supervisory experience, including mentoring, performance support, and motivation of colleagues.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in documentation and follow-up.
  • Competence with common office software and property CRM systems, and willingness to learn new tools quickly.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills to interpret sales data, targets, and market trends.
  • Valid UK Drivers Licence and Access to own vehicle.
