Here at Vertu Peugeot & Hyundai Banbury, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager to join our team in this newly created role, offering a competitive basic salary of £40,000 OTE £50,000

Our Aftersales team is 25 strong, made up of skilled Technicians, Service Advisors, Workshop Control and Drivers, all working together to deliver an excellent experience for our customers.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their Aftersales career. You don’t necessarily need to already be working as an Assistant Service Manager – we would also be keen to hear from experienced Service Advisors or Senior Service Advisors who have taken on additional responsibilities and are ready to progress into a management role.

  • You’ll support the Aftersales Manager with the day-to-day running of the department, with a particular focus on our front-of-house operation.
  • You’ll help support and guide the Service Advisor team.
  • Assist with the smooth running of the department.
  • Take ownership of customer concerns, ensuring they are handled promptly, professionally and accurately.

Our dealership is committed to delivering exceptional customer service, and we’re looking for someone who can help us continue building on the strong progress already being made within the department.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience within a dealership Aftersales environment, either in a similar management role or as an experienced Service Advisor / Senior Service Advisor.
  • You may already be supporting colleagues, handling escalated customer issues, helping manage workloads or taking on additional senior responsibilities and now be looking for the opportunity to formally step into management.
  • A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • The confidence to support both customers and colleagues.
  • A full, valid UK driving licence is also required.
