Assistant HR Administrator
Our HR team at Bouygues is seeking an Assistant HR Administrator to join them. Hybrid working is available for this role, providing a balance between office-based collaboration (3 days) and remote working (2 days). This is a position that offers variety and scope to develop your skills.
Job Purpose & Scope
You will be operating in a shared service centre, provide efficient administrative support to HR Managers & Employees; to ensure the effective processing of all payroll and benefits instructions. Your communication skills will be tested using numerous communication channels: video calling, emails and instant messaging.
Essential Skills
- Experienced in using High IT literacy, we work on a digital first approach
- Experienced in MSTeams and MSOutlook
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Experienced in working in Shared Service model, supporting multiple companies (preferably HR)
- Comfortable with remote / digital working, our employee base is all over the UK you will be using video calling, emails and instant messaging for all communication
Key Tasks
Starters
- Most of your work will involve starters, dealing with required documentation (right to work, authority to appoint etc.) and includes VISA processing.
- Drafting contracts of employment & offer letters using prescribed templates.
- The input data into payroll system registering staff details on relevant portal.
- Ensure ‘staff tracker’ is always updated / correct to track all starters.
- You will support “HR Admin Induction” on first day to create a smooth onboarding process.

Leavers
- Ensure ‘staff tracker’ is always updated / correct to track all leavers planned in a given month.
- Calculate leave entitlement based on leave date, and advise HR Opps accordingly.
General
- Responding to Employee emails, directing to best sources of information and further guidance.
- Direct employees to correct sources of information and HR tools.
