Job Description
Shooting Assistant Producer
We are looking for a Shooting Assistant Producer to join our UK Studio team and support the delivery of high-quality video content across sport, entertainment, and branded content. This is a junior production role for someone looking to build their career across both production and hands-on shooting. The role will have a strong focus on supporting Producers and wider crews throughout the production process, from research in pre-production through to assisting on set, filming, and supporting post-production.

The ideal candidate will have some practical camera experience and a strong interest in developing their technical production skills. They will be comfortable assisting on professional shoots and, where appropriate, operating a camera on smaller or lower-risk setups under the direction of more experienced team members.
This is an opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of productions while developing towards a future Shooting Producer role.
Role Summary
- Support Producers across the full production process, from research and pre-production through to filming, post-production, and delivery.
- Assist with production planning and logistics, including contributors, talent, locations, schedules, kit, and shoot preparation.
- Play an active role on set, supporting Producers, Directors, DOPs, and crew across camera, lighting, and audio setups.
- Operate cameras on appropriate productions, capturing interviews, social content, B-roll, and additional coverage.
- Support live and studio productions, developing experience across multi-camera and broadcast workflows.
- Support post-production, including footage and asset management, edit handovers, feedback, and coordinating deliverables.
- Contribute research and ideas to creative development, pitches, and brainstorms, staying close to trends across sport, entertainment, creators, and digital content.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- 2+ years’ professional experience in video, content, or production within an agency, production company, broadcaster, brand, or freelance environment.
- Some experience operating professional cameras, ideally Sony FX3/FX6 or similar, with a good understanding of framing, exposure, and focus.
- Experience supporting camera, lighting, and audio setups, with a strong desire to develop technical production skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced production environments, with strong research and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with colleagues, clients, contributors, talent, and production crews.
- Good understanding of social and digital video, with a strong interest in sport, entertainment, creators, and internet culture.
- Basic Adobe Premiere Pro skills are desirable, alongside an appetite to learn new production technology and workflows.
- Ambition to develop across shooting and production, progressing towards a Shooting Producer role.
