Job Title: Assistant Site Manager
Rate of Pay: £13.78 per hour
Hours: 20 per week
Contract: Permanent
Type of Employment: Part Time
Location: Q3 Academy Tipton, Alexandra Road, Tipton, West Midlands, England, DY4 7NR
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager/Supervisor to supervise all site-based operatives and oversee all aspects of their work, making sure they are undertaken within the current codes of practice to a high standard.
- Overseeing operatives and their work
- Carrying out safety inductions, tool box talks
- Controlling quality of work
- Ensuring method statement/Risk Assessments are completed
- Ensuring all materials used, including those by sub-contractors, are compliant with technical and quality specifications
- Keeping the plant and facilities clean and tidy
- Maintaining accurate records of all work carried out
Ideal Candidate:
- Knowledge and understanding of the CDM regulations
- Must obtain/have a SMSTS Certificate
- Substantial experience of the full life cycle of several Construction projects
- Involvement in the supervision of the project and staff/operatives working on it is highly desirable
