Assistant Site Manager
Large-Scale Residential Development | Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk £45,000 - £55,000 + Package
Are you an ambitious Assistant Site Manager looking to take the next step in your career with a 5-star volume house builder?
Our client, a highly respected and award-winning house builder, is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join a flagship large-scale residential development in Bury St Edmunds. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced Project Team delivering a high-quality multi-phase housing scheme.
The Role
Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day management of the development, helping to ensure homes are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

- Assisting with the management of subcontractors on site.
- Monitoring health & safety compliance across the development.
- Ensuring works are completed in line with programme requirements.
- Maintaining high standards of quality and presentation throughout the build.
- Supporting plot completions and customer handovers.
- Coordinating trades and suppliers to ensure efficient site operations.
- Assisting with site inspections and audits.
- Driving production whilst maintaining exceptional build quality.
About You
We are keen to speak with individuals who have:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential housebuilding.
- A strong understanding of traditional build construction methods.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive and positive approach to site management.
- A passion for delivering high-quality homes.
- SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid qualifications (preferred).
