About the Role
Sphere Solutions are working with a bespoke residential housebuilder to recruit an ambitious and experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a new residential development in Perranporth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day supervision and coordination of subcontractors and directly employed site staff.
- Drive production and ensure the development remains on programme.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure homes are completed to the required quality standards.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of health and safety procedures.
- Assist with coordinating construction activities and ensuring resources are effectively managed.
- Deputise for the Site Manager when required.
- Conduct toolbox talks and contribute to effective site communication.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements.
- Assist with resolving any issues that may affect programme, quality, or safety.

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working within residential housebuilding or new build housing at Assistant Site Manager level. You will have:
- A good understanding of modern construction methods and processes.
- Knowledge of current health and safety legislation.
- Strong knowledge of modern construction methods and building processes.

- Ability to work effectively alongside a Site Manager and wider construction team.
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work.
