Assistant Site Manager
Lakenheath, Suffolk
£45,000 - £55,000 + Excellent Package + Bonus
Are you an ambitious Assistant Site Manager looking to develop your career with one of the UK's leading 5-star housebuilders?
Our client, a prestigious volume housebuilder with an exceptional reputation for quality and customer satisfaction, is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join a flagship large-scale residential development in Lakenheath, Suffolk.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced management team on a multi-phase housing scheme, gaining exposure to all aspects of site management while progressing towards a Site Manager position.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Senior Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of a busy residential development, helping to ensure homes are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the management of subcontractors and site labour
- Driving health & safety standards across the development
- Coordinating trades to achieve build programmes and key deadlines
- Conducting quality inspections and snagging activities
- Supporting NHBC and Building Control inspections
- Monitoring site presentation and housekeeping
- Assisting with material management and deliveries
- Ensuring plots are delivered to the highest customer service standards
- Supporting the site team with handovers and completions
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential housebuilding
- Experience working for a volume housebuilder would be highly desirable
- Strong understanding of traditional build construction methods
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Passion for delivering quality homes and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced site environment
- SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid and CSCS qualifications preferred
