Our client, a well-established and highly respected residential developer, is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a large-scale housing development in Felixstowe. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced site management team, delivering high-quality homes while developing your career within a growing business.
The Role
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the development, ensuring homes are built safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

- Assisting with the management of subcontractors on site.
- Monitoring health and safety compliance across the development.
- Supporting the build programme and ensuring works are progressing to schedule.
- Conducting quality inspections and snagging checks.
- Assisting with NHBC inspections and compliance requirements.
- Coordinating materials, labour and site logistics.
- Ensuring company standards and procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Supporting customer satisfaction initiatives and delivering an excellent home-buying experience.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Finishing Foreman, or Site Supervisor within residential housebuilding.
- Experience working on volume housing developments.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple trades and workloads effectively.
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to quality and customer service.

Essential Qualifications
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work
- Full UK Driving Licence
