Are you a practical, reliable, and hardworking individual looking for a fulfilling role in a school environment? Pennyhill Primary School is seeking a dedicated School Caretaker to join our team and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the school site is safe, secure, and well-maintained.
- Carrying out routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general upkeep of the premises.
- Overseeing site security, including opening and closing the school as required.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supporting the school with setup for events and activities.
About You:
- Previous experience in a caretaking, maintenance, or site management role (desirable but not essential).
- A proactive and practical approach to work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Flexibility with working hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
