Assistant Site Manager
Heybridge, Essex
Up to £55,000 + Package
A leading PLC house builder is looking to appoint an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to join a major multi-phased residential development in Heybridge, Essex.
Working alongside an experienced Site Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality housing scheme, ensuring plots are built safely, on programme, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
The Role
- Assist with the day-to-day management of a large residential development
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors on site
- Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at all times
- Support build programmes and drive production targets
- Monitor quality and ensure homes are delivered defect-free
- Carry out inspections and snagging works
- Work closely with NHBC and internal quality teams
- Help deliver an exceptional customer experience through the build process

About You
- Experience working for a house builder or residential main contractor
- Previous Assistant Site Manager, Trainee Site Manager or Finishing Manager experience
- Strong knowledge of traditional house building methods
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid preferred
- Passionate about quality, safety and delivering homes on time
