The Role

The Assistant Social Media Manager, EU is the single owner of Trip.com's social media strategy and results across France, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom and Germany. Reporting to the Global Social Marketing Manager, the role defines the regional social strategy, drives brand awareness, engagement and business outcomes, and manages vendors and the designers responsible for content production, driving regional localisation collaboration end-to-end. It requires strong strategy and planning capability, vendor management, creative direction, cross-functional coordination, and disciplined budget and governance management.

In this Role, you’ll get to:

Social Media Strategy and Planning

  • Define the overall social media strategy and measurable targets (KPIs) for the five EU/UK markets, and own the results.
  • Build per-market content strategies and always-on content frameworks/calendars that translate global campaign objectives into locally relevant activations.
  • Set creative and content direction, and translate campaign objectives into clear briefs and execution plans.

Team and Vendor Management

  • Manage vendors and the designers responsible for content production across the five markets, overseeing day-to-day content production, editing, design and publishing.
  • Brief, quality-check and sign off vendors' and designers' output to ensure brand tone, accuracy, timeliness and compliance.
  • Coordinate regional colleagues who contribute localization insight and strategy input, consolidating their feedback into the market plans.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
