Location: Eden Hall Day Spa
Salary: £36,000 per annum

We're looking for an experienced Assistant Spa & Leisure Manager to help lead one of the UK's leading luxury day spas.
This role is ideal for a confident leader with experience in Spa & Leisure operations. Leisure management experience is essential, along with Pool Plant Operations experience including a recognised Pool Plant qualification.
The Role
Working with the Spa & Leisure Manager, you'll support the day-to-day operation of:
- 28 treatment rooms
- Spa Reception
- Indoor & outdoor pools
- Thermal experiences
- Relaxation lounges
- Leisure facilities & classes
- Pool plant operations
You'll lead your team, deliver exceptional guest experiences and help ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership
- Leading, motivating recruiting, training and developing the Spa & Leisure team
- Managing performance and support Duty Manager shifts
Operations
- Overseeing daily Spa & Leisure operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and high standards of presentation, cleanliness and safety
- Coordinating treatment schedule and leisure class timetables
- Collaborating with Reception, Housekeeping and Maintenance teams

Leisure & Pool Management
- Supporting daily pool operations, monitoring pool plant and water quality, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and pool regulations
- Working with Estate & Maintenance teams to deliver preventative maintenance
Commercial & Compliance
- Supporting budgets, payroll and stock control
- Driving treatment and retail sales
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, Fire Safety and PSOP
Essential
What We're Looking For
- Have previous management or supervisory experience within a spa and leisure environment
- Have proven leisure operations experience
- Have experience managing swimming pool facilities and operations
- Have Pool Plant Operations qualification or equivalent practical experience
- Have excellent leadership, organisation and communication skills
- Have experience managing rotas, staffing and performance
- Have a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences

Desirable
- Previous experience within the spa industry
- Experience working as a Duty Manager
- A valid First Aid qualification
- IOSH or an equivalent Health & Safety qualification
Salary & Hours
- Salary: £36,000 per annum
- 40 hours per week
- 5 days out of 7
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required
