The Role…

At Soho House, our Assistant Spa Manager plays a key leadership role in delivering an exceptional, luxury wellbeing experience for our members and guests. Supporting the Spa Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the spa, ensuring seamless service, commercial performance, and a highly motivated team. This is a hands-on leadership role, balancing operational oversight with member interaction, team development, and commercial accountability. You will be visible on the floor, setting the tone for hospitality, standards, and energy within the spa.

Key duties…

  • Support and inspire the spa team to deliver consistently exceptional treatments and service standards.
  • Oversee daily spa operations including bookings, rota planning, therapist utilisation, and guest flow.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and fully compliant spa environment aligned with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Support management of the spa P&L, tracking KPIs such as treatment revenue, retail sales, utilisation, and guest satisfaction scores.
  • Assist in stock control, ordering, and supplier management to maintain effective cost control.
  • Drive retail performance through team training and commercial focus.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing performance management of therapists and reception teams.
  • Collaborate with Membership, Events, Marketing and F&B teams to create engaging wellness experiences and packages.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring swift and thoughtful resolution.

What we are looking for...

  • Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in spa management within a luxury hotel, wellness retreat, or members club.
  • Recognised qualification in spa therapy, wellness, or beauty therapy (e.g., CIBTAC, CIDESCO, ITEC).
  • Proven leadership and operational experience, including team development and KPI delivery.
  • Deep understanding of luxury guest service and premium wellness trends.
  • Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • IT literacy including spa booking systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools.
