Assistant Store Manager – Luxury Contemporary Fashion Brand
The Opportunity
An internationally recognised luxury contemporary fashion and lifestyle brand is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Manager to help lead one of its flagship UK stores.
Acting as the day-to-day floor leader of the business, this person will be responsible for delivering an elevated client experience, driving commercial performance, and building a high-performing team culture within one of the most high-profile retail destinations in the UK.
Known for its cult following and community-driven retail experiences, the brand has built a strong global following through its distinctive product offering, elevated environments, and highly curated partnerships.
This role requires someone who understands both modern fashion culture and luxury retail standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in the day-to-day running of the business
- Lead, motivate, and develop a large team, creating a strong performance culture with clear accountability
- Drive commercial performance across all KPIs including sales, ATV, UPT, conversion, and client retention
- Deliver a highly elevated and personalised client experience aligned with luxury service expectations
- Build long-term relationships with local clients, VICs, personal shoppers, and key store stakeholders
- Ensure the space consistently reflects the brand’s identity through exceptional standards of VM, styling, product presentation, and operational execution
- Coach the team through regular feedback, performance management, and development conversations
- Maintain strong operational control including stock management, reporting, rota planning, and compliance
- Support and execute launches, activations, and collaborative events
- Work closely with senior leadership across both the UK and global retail structure

Candidate Profile
- Previous management experience within premium, luxury, or contemporary fashion retail
- Strong understanding of both streetwear culture and luxury retail environments
- Naturally confident leadership style with the ability to build respect, accountability, and team engagement
- Commercially aware with a proven ability to drive sales performance and team results
- Passionate about fashion, styling, product storytelling, and client experience
- Able to balance a culturally connected presence with strong operational leadership
- Experienced working within fast-paced, high-profile retail environments
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
