Assistant Store Manager – New Store Opening | Bicester Village

As we prepare to open our new store at Bicester Village, we are looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to help lead the team and bring our brand to life.

Your Mission

Supporting the Store Manager, you will play a key role in driving commercial performance, leading the team on the shop floor, and ensuring every customer enjoys an exceptional brand experience. You will act as a role model, inspiring colleagues through coaching, operational excellence, and a hands-on leadership approach.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day management of the boutique.
  • Lead and motivate the team to achieve individual and store objectives.
  • Coach team members through regular feedback and on-the-job training.
  • Take responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence.

Commercial Performance

  • Drive sales performance and contribute to achieving KPIs and business goals.
  • Analyse daily trading results and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Encourage client development through outstanding service and relationship building.
  • Promote cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.

Customer Experience

  • Deliver a premium customer journey aligned with the C.P. Company brand.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and develop customer loyalty.
  • Resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently.

Operations

  • Support stock management, replenishment, and inventory activities.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained.
  • Guarantee compliance with company procedures, health & safety standards, and operational policies.
  • Assist with reporting, administration, and scheduling.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Sales Associate in premium or luxury retail.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Commercial awareness and results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Passion for fashion, innovation, and customer experience.
  • Maintain Brand & Visual Standards: Embrace and uphold high standards of visual merchandising, ensuring the store environment reflects the premium CP Company brand image.
  • Strategically apply CRM methods and procedures in order to assist in the execution of company CRM initiatives and build actions for developing opportunities with loyal and potential clients.
  • Fluency in English. Other languages are considered a plus.
