Assistant Store Manager (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Luxury Retailer | Stratford Westfield, London

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially driven Assistant Store Manager to join a prestigious luxury womenswear brand at its flagship store in Westfield Stratford City on a 12-month fixed-term contract. There is also potential with the brand currently expanding for the role to continue within another location or position depending on the brand's needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate retail leader who understands the luxury customer journey, thrives in a high-profile retail environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional service while driving commercial success. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership and performance of the store. You will lead from the front, inspire your team to deliver outstanding results, and ensure every customer enjoys a premium, personalised shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Store Manager in delivering sales, KPI, and profitability targets
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team
  • Creating exceptional customer experiences through luxury service
  • Maintaining impeccable visual merchandising and brand standards
  • Supporting stock management, deliveries, and operational excellence
  • Analysing sales performance and identifying opportunities to drive growth
  • Acting as the senior manager on duty in the Store Manager's absence

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or Senior Sales role within luxury or premium fashion retail
  • Strong commercial awareness and a proven ability to drive results
  • Excellent leadership and people-development skills
  • A polished, professional, and customer-centric approach
  • Passion for luxury fashion and delivering world-class service
  • The ability to remain resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced retail environment
