Deputy Store Manager (Maternity Cover) – Zara Cardiff

Full-Time Opportunity

At Zara, part of the Inditex Group, we are looking for a passionate and results-driven Deputy Store Manager to join our Cardiff team on a maternity cover basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key leadership role within a fast-paced retail environment, supporting the General Manager to drive performance, lead teams, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

🔹 The Role

As Deputy Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of the store. You will work closely with the General Manager, Operations, Product, and CX teams to ensure seamless store operations and strong commercial results.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Sales & Operations

  • Support the General Manager in delivering sales targets and store KPIs
  • Coordinate across Product, Operations, and Customer Experience teams
  • Ensure smooth store operations across floor, stockroom, and cash desks
  • Drive product flow, replenishment, and stock management efficiency
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation, organisation, and maintenance

  • Maintain high standards of health & safety across the store
