Assistant Store Manager

At adidas, we believe through sport, we have the power to change lives. As we prepare to open an exciting new store at Resorts World Birmingham, we're looking for an ambitious and passionate Assistant Store Manager to help bring our brand to life and create unforgettable experiences for our consumers.
This is more than a retail leadership role. It's an opportunity to inspire a team, drive commercial success, and help shape the culture of one of our newest stores from day one.
What You'll Do
Working alongside the Store Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional results, building a high-performing team, and creating an environment where consumers connect with the adidas brand.
You'll
- Support the leadership and direction of a flagship retail team
- Drive sales performance and deliver outstanding commercial results
- Create exceptional consumer experiences that bring our brand to life
- Coach, develop, and inspire team members to reach their full potential
- Analyse store performance and identify opportunities to maximise results
- Lead by example on the shop floor, setting the standard for service excellence
- Ensure visual merchandising, operational, and brand standards are consistently delivered
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent development initiatives
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For
You are an energetic retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is passionate about sport, fashion, and people development.
You'll Bring
- Experience as an Assistant Store Manager or equivalent leadership role within a retail environment
- A proven track record of delivering strong commercial results
- Experience coaching and developing high-performing teams
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to analyse performance and make impactful business decisions
- A hands-on leadership style with a passion for creating exceptional consumer experiences
- Confidence managing competing priorities while maintaining operational excellence
