Role Description
The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the SNAPWASH LAUNDRY location in New Town. This role supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including supervising team members, coordinating shift schedules, and ensuring that laundry services are completed accurately and on time. The Assistant Store Manager helps maintain a clean and safe environment, manages customer interactions, resolves service issues, and promotes a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities include:

- Monitoring inventory of supplies
- Assisting with cash handling and basic reporting

Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with diverse customers.
- Basic leadership and team supervision capabilities, including experience assigning tasks, supporting staff, and encouraging positive teamwork.
- Organizational and time-management skills to coordinate daily workflows, manage priorities, and meet service deadlines.
- Basic numerical and cash-handling skills, with attention to detail for transactions, receipts, and simple reporting.
- Ability to learn and follow operational procedures, including safe use of laundry equipment and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Comfort with using simple technology or point-of-sale systems for customer orders and payments.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or service environments is preferred but not required.
- Availability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends or evenings as needed, and to be physically present on-site in New Town.
