Asket Store Assistant Manager
At Asket our vision is a world free of mindless consumption. To get there, we are on a mission to slow down the fashion industry by creating one permanent collection of garments that last longer, do better by people and planet and allow us to live fulfilled with less.
Rather than just another transactional store, the Asket store aims to create an in-depth experience with, and conversation around, our garments, leaving the customer to invest in them on their own terms: in store, from home, or not at all.
As Assistant Store Manager, you'll be the on-site operational lead of our London store on Brewer Street, making sure the routines behind the scenes run smoothly so the team can give every visitor an exceptional experience. You'll work side by side with our Store Manager to lead the team day to day, all while being a hands-on presence on the shop floor and a role model in customer service.
What you'll do:
Store operations
- Own inventory management: deliveries, stock counts replenishment feedback and stock accuracy routines
- Make sure operational routines are followed and keep improving them, including returns, repairs and online orders handled in store
- Onboard and train new team members in our operational routines and systems
- Keep front and back-of-house standards high

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
