Assistant Manager | Covent Garden | Fashion Retail | £33,000 + Bonus

Are you an experienced Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or Team Leader ready for your next step in fashion retail?

We're looking for an ambitious Assistant Manager to join a successful fashion retailer in Covent Garden. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on retail leader who enjoys driving sales, developing people, and delivering an exceptional customer experience in a busy, high-profile location.

You'll work closely with the Store Manager to drive the performance of the store, motivate the team, and maintain high standards across every area of the operation.

The Role

As Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the store, supporting the Store Manager to deliver strong commercial results and an outstanding customer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Store Manager in leading, motivating, and developing the team
  • Driving sales, service, and KPI performance
  • Coaching team members to reach their full potential
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training
  • Maintaining excellent visual merchandising and store standards
  • Taking responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence
  • Supporting stock, operational, and commercial activities
  • Leading by example and creating a positive team environment

About You

To be successful in this Assistant Manager role, you'll have:

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, Team Leader, or Keyholder within retail
  • A strong commercial mindset with experience delivering sales and KPI targets
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • A passion for fashion and customer service
  • A hands-on approach and the confidence to lead from the front
  • Experience coaching and developing a team
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-footfall environment

This role would suit candidates from fashion, footwear, lifestyle, accessories, premium, or other customer-focused retail backgrounds.
