Skechers Assistant Manager
Are you an experienced retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves delivering an exceptional experience for our customers?
If so, we want you to join our team as a Skechers Assistant Manager at our Trafford Centre store.
As one of the leaders of our Trafford Centre store, you'll play a key role in driving our continued success. Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll help lead a high-performing team, deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive strong commercial results.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for supporting the Store Manager across all aspects of the store operation, while taking ownership of performance, team development and customer experience.
You'll lead from the front, setting the standard for your team and creating an environment where people are motivated to achieve their goals. Whether you're driving sales performance, coaching your team on the sales floor, maintaining excellent operational standards or supporting the day-to-day running of the store, you'll have a real opportunity to make your mark.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in an Assistant Manager or equivalent retail management role is essential
- Strong commercial awareness, with a proven ability to drive sales and deliver against store KPIs
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a diverse team
- A confident and hands-on leadership style, leading by example on the sales floor
- The ability to analyse performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and customer experience
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting the Store Manager with staffing, scheduling, stock management and day-to-day operations
- A strong understanding of visual merchandising and the importance of maintaining high brand standards
- The ability to create a positive, collaborative team environment where people feel supported, challenged and motivated to succeed
- A genuine passion for customer service, retail, footwear and the Skechers brand
