Assistant Store Manager
Join us here at Poundland as an Assistant Store Manager and play a key role in supporting the Store Manager to lead, motivate, and inspire the team to deliver amazing service and outstanding store standards every day.
You’ll be right at the heart of the store, helping drive performance, hit targets, and make sure everything runs smoothly, from customer service and team coaching to stock management, operational excellence, and loss prevention. With your support, the store will be a safe, welcoming, and well-organised environment for our colleagues and customers alike.
A confident, people-focused approach is essential. You’ll inspire your team, develop future succession, and lead by example, while keeping an eye on sales, performance, and the day-to-day operations of a busy retail store.

- Supporting the Store Manager

Key Skills and Experience
- Previous retail experience
- Essential people leadership skills
- Strong organisation and commercial awareness
- Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-moving environment
