Role Description
The Retail Assistant Store Manager role at Subdued is a full-time, on-site position based in London, specifically at our Westfield White city mall location. This role supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including supervising the sales floor, coordinating staff schedules, and ensuring visual merchandising aligns with brand guidelines. The Assistant Store Manager helps drive sales by leading by example, engaging with customers, and promoting key products and collections.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Coaching team members
- Monitoring performance against targets
- Handling customer inquiries and escalations
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
The role also involves:
- Assisting with stock management
- Reporting key metrics
- Contributing to local initiatives that enhance brand presence and customer loyalty

Qualifications
- Good customer service skills
- Mandatory previous experience of at least 1 year in Fashion Fast Retail environment or hospitality
- Effective interpersonal and Communication skills to interact with customers and support the store team
- Demonstrated Team Management capabilities, including coaching, motivating, and guiding colleagues
- Sales skills with experience meeting or exceeding targets in a retail environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, as required by store operations
- Problem-solving skills
