Are you ready to inspire, lead, and elevate student achievement? At Co-op Academy Leeds, we are looking for a dynamic, ambitious Assistant Subject Leader for English to join our dedicated leadership team. Working directly alongside the Subject Leader, you will play a pivotal role in designing our curriculum, fostering collaboration across the department, and driving outstanding academic outcomes across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Key Responsibilities
- Departmental Leadership: Partner with the Subject Leader to guide curriculum strategy, innovate teaching approaches, and raise standards across KS3 and KS4 English.
- Instructional Excellence: Inspire, mentor, and collaborate with teaching colleagues to deliver consistently high-quality, engaging lessons.
- Student Success & Behaviour: Drive high academic achievement while promoting positive behaviour through our rewards-focused culture.
- Pastoral Collaboration: Work closely with our experienced pastoral team to support student well-being, personal growth, and secondary school journey.
- Culture & Values: Role-model exceptional professional standards while embedding the Co-op principles into daily academy life.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Degree in English and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven track record of outstanding classroom practice and leadership potential.
- Alignment with cooperative values and a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
