We have an exciting opportunity fo an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join us on a major project in Bedfordshire.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience on a prestigious high-value project, working alongside experienced commercial professionals in a supportive environment that encourages learning and progression.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Assisting with procurement, subcontractor engagement and cost control activities
- Preparing valuations, cost reports and forecasts under guidance
- Supporting the management of variations and change control
- Assisting with the preparation and agreement of final accounts
- Working collaboratively with site, commercial, design and supply chain teams
- Ensuring commercial processes align with company procedures and best practice

What We're Looking For
- Experience in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor role or a relevant construction/commercial role
- A degree or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Good numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience on construction projects is beneficial but not essential
