Location: Hadleigh/Ipswich/Felixstowe, Suffolk

Are you a detail-driven, client-focused tax professional ready to take your next career step? Suffolk Tax Accountants Group is looking for an experienced Tax Senior/Assistant Tax Manager (ATT qualified or QBE) to join our dynamic and friendly tax team headed by our experienced tax partner Natalie Moon based in the heart of Hadleigh, Ipswich & Felixstowe.
🔍 About the Role
You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients along with some unincorporated business returns, providing high-quality compliance and advisory services. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with our tax partner and the partners and develop your expertise in a supportive and progressive environment.

📌 Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of personal and partnership tax returns
- Preparation and review of trust returns is desirable, but not essential.
- Providing tax planning and advisory support across a range of clients
- Supporting junior team members and reviewing their work
- Liaising with HMRC and staying current on UK tax legislation
- Building long-term relationships with clients and becoming a trusted advisor
✅ What We’re Looking For
- ATT qualified (or QBE) (CTA/STEP study support available if desired)
- Experience in a tax role within practice
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and confident working to deadlines
- A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for continuous learning
