Assistant Team Manager – Children's Social Work Team (Medway) – Permanent
Liquid Personnel are proud to be supporting Medway Council in recruiting an Assistant Team Manager to join their Children's Social Work Team on a permanent basis.
Due to continued investment in Children's Services, Medway Council is expanding its management capacity and is looking for a passionate leader to support Social Workers in delivering outstanding outcomes for children and families. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Worker ready to progress into management, or an established Assistant Team Manager seeking a new challenge.

- Salary of £53,435 - £58,920 per annum (Depending on experience)
- £3,000 annual retention payment (subject to eligibility)
- Potential earnings of up to £61,920 per annum
- Hybrid working with a minimum of two office days per week
- Relocation package of up to £8,000
- Up to 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a small team of Social Workers through high-quality supervision and oversight
- Ensure children and families receive effective safeguarding and support services
- Drive high standards of practice, performance and statutory compliance
- Work alongside Team Managers to promote a positive and relationship-based culture

For This Role You Will Need
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent)
- Registration with Social Work England
- Completion of ASYE
- Experience within statutory Children's Social Care
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
