Assistant Technical Services Manager (Mechanical)
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
About The Role
We are currently seeking three Assistant Technical Services Managers (Mechanical) to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical services professional looking to develop their career within a technical services management environment.
The successful candidates will support the effective management and delivery of mechanical technical services, using their practical experience and technical knowledge to help ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
There are no specific formal qualifications required for this position. Relevant experience, practical knowledge and a strong understanding of mechanical services are key to success in the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management and delivery of mechanical technical services and associated works.
- Assist with the effective planning, coordination and delivery of maintenance and reactive works.
- Provide technical support, advice and guidance to colleagues, contractors and relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor the quality and standard of mechanical works and ensure required standards are maintained.
- Assist with identifying and resolving technical issues, ensuring appropriate solutions are implemented.
- Liaise with relevant teams and contractors to support the efficient delivery of services.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, health and safety requirements and operational standards.
- Support the Technical Services Manager with the day-to-day management of mechanical services.
- Ensure all duties and responsibilities outlined within the role's Job Description are delivered effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to technical services and works undertaken.
- Provide flexible support to operational requirements, including occasional out-of-hours/on-call duties where required.

About You
The successful candidates will have:
- Demonstrable experience within a mechanical services, maintenance, facilities or technical services environment.
- Strong practical and technical knowledge of mechanical services.
- Experience of supporting or coordinating maintenance and technical works.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively with colleagues, contractors and other stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- The ability to work independently while also supporting wider technical services teams.
- A flexible approach to working, including participation in on-call arrangements on a case-by-case basis.
- A full, valid UK driving licence, which is required due to the on-call requirements of the role.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Basic DBS check.

Additional Information
These are full-time positions based on a 37.5-hour working week.
On-call duties will be required on a case-by-case basis, so flexibility is essential.
In return, successful candidates will receive a salary of £40,000 – £45,000 per annum, together with the opportunity to develop their technical services management experience
