UTA is seeking an Assistant to support a Comedy Agent and Partner in our London office.

You will be responsible for the smooth running of a busy desk that books comedy shows into all corners of the world. Working directly, with artists, promoters, colleagues and other industry stakeholders to deliver best in class touring projects for the world’s leading comedy roster.

With a keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in Microsoft Excel, You will manage the schedules, finances and details of some of the world’s most successful comedy tours which on any given day could include: show contracting, procuring ticket sales counts, liaising with client managers and clients, working up pitches or marketing materials, maintaining diaries, producing reports, calculating final settlements - all while laughing with the encouragement of a fantastic team.

We see roster development and client coverage as a team effort and you will be expected to attend shows on evenings and weekends to support clients and share in researching potential clients at shows in person, online or wherever their content can be found.

This job has the typical amount of admin-based tasks you would expect with an assistant role but benefits from being in a fast paced, fun and dynamic industry where watching live comedy is part of the gig and a clearly defined path to growth and a career. This balance can be improved by your clever AI based attempts to reduce the admin side of the equation and develop processes to makes everyone’s day easier.

The remit is global touring, servicing comedy and live events clients and shows playing all over the world. You would be joining a quickly-growing team in a fast-paced environment, at the forefront of the live comedy industry.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
