Driver Hire Perth are recruiting for an Assistant Transport Manager on behalf of one of our clients in Perth.
This role is ideal for someone with strong transport planning experience who enjoys coordinating vehicles, drivers and daily workloads in a fast-paced environment.
Duties Include
- Planning vehicles, drivers, collections and deliveries
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and third-party hauliers
- Monitoring driver hours and transport compliance
- Supporting drivers with operational issues
- Organising fleet maintenance and servicing
- Assisting with recruitment and training
- Covering for the Transport Manager when required

Requirements
- Previous transport planning or transport operations experience
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Transport Manager CPC desirable but not essential

- £34,200 per year
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00-17:00
- Permanent, full-time position
