Who are we?đź‘‹

Look at the latest headlines and you will see something Ki insures. Think space shuttles, world tours, wind farms, and even footballers’ legs.

Ki’s mission is simple. Digitally disrupt and revolutionise a 335-year-old market. Working with Google and UCL, Ki has created a platform that uses algorithms, machine learning, and large language models to give insurance brokers quotes in seconds, rather than days.

Ki is proudly the biggest global algorithmic insurance carrier. It is the fastest growing syndicate in the Lloyd's of London market, and the first ever to make $100m in profit in 3 years.

Ki’s teams have varied backgrounds and work together in an agile, cross-functional way to build the very best experience for its customers. Ki has big ambitions but needs more excellent minds to challenge the status-quo and help it reach new horizons.

Where you come in?

We're a fast-growing, evolving insurance and technology business, sponsored by one of the leading Lloyd’s managing agencies and leading global investment firm Blackstone. We operate as a standalone business, trading digitally through the Ki platform with brokers in Lloyd's across more than 30 classes of business. We're proud to have been founded alongside some of the world's best-in-class partners—including Brit, Fairfax, Blackstone, Google, UCL, and Lloyd’s.

In this role, you'll support our portfolio underwriting team in overseeing our Cyber & Tech E&O division and managing our broker relationships. You'll collaborate closely with our underwriters to execute our underwriting strategy, prepare for and engage in broker meetings, support pricing requirements across classes, and handle queries from internal stakeholders. You'll also play a key role in continuously reviewing bound risks and performing portfolio-level underwriting analysis, working hand-in-hand with our exposure management and actuarial teams.

Additionally, you'll deliver valuable analytical insights to the underwriting team by creating reports, sharing statistics, and delivering management information, which includes active oversight of our Salesforce pipeline data. We'll look to you to support our underwriters in developing strong broker and client relationships, contributing directly to new and renewal business in line with our approved business plan, and helping to shape and deliver our underwriting strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
